Some raw video footage of growler filler at Iron Hill, shot to test a new Flip Ultra video camera. So basically this one's for the idly curious.
Nothing truly spectacular here, except the beer, which by the way, was an Oktoberfest.

Hi Mike,
Bartenders there tend to the growlers pretty quick, capping the jug and winding a few turns of tape along the lid's edge to help seal it.
The fills are pretty close to the top, too, so the ullage is slight, leaving little room for the beer to degas into.
I've had Iron Hill growlers keep for longer than 3 weeks unopened and the carbonation held up very well.
